I. Course Requirements
- At least 24 total graduate course credits (12 on the 600-800 level) plus 6 credits thesis research (AMSC799).
- 12 credits must be in courses with primarily mathematical content. 6 of these credits must be at the 600-800 level, and 3 of these credits must be a course in Numerical Analysis (grade B or better).
- 6 credits must be application area courses at the 600-800 level, or 9 credits of application area courses with at least 3 credits at the 600-800 level.
- 1 credit of Applied Math or appropriate seminar offered by a participating department.
II. Thesis
Write a thesis under the guidance of advisors and present it orally before an Examination Committee.
