Dr. Aravind Srinivasan, Computer Science Professor and AMSC faculty, has received the 2019 Edsger W. Kijkstra Prize in Distributed Computing for his paper " Randomized Distributed Edge Coloring via an Extension of the Chernoff–Hoeffding Bounds" coauthored with Alessandro Panconesi.
