Master's Degree with Applied Math Concentration (With Thesis)
I. Course Requirements
- At least 24 total graduate course credits plus 6 credits thesis research (AMSC799).
- 12 credits must be in courses with primarily mathematical content. 3 of these credits must be a course in Numerical Analysis (grade B or better).
- 6-9 credits must be application area courses.
- 1 credit of Applied Math or appropriate seminar offered by a participating department.
II. Thesis
Write a thesis under the guidance of advisors and present it orally before an Examination Committee.
