Congratulations to Sam Punshon-Smith for being awarded the NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship!
Sam Punshon-Smith, who graduated from the AMSC PhD program in 2017, was awarded the NSF Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to join the Division of Applied Mathematics at Brown University as a Postdoctoral Associate. He will be working with Dr. Govind Menon, who works on problems in stochastic analysis, fluid dynamics, and kinetic theory. Sam Punshon-Smith has chosen the Instructorship option for the NSF Fellowship which involves one year of full-time research and two more years of half-time research support and a position as a Prager Assistant Professor.
